Individual therapy is the process in which you and your therapist will work together one-on-one in a comfortable, confidential, supportive environment to create a plan for positive growth, healing, and change in your life. While individual therapy can serve many purposes, some may include exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, processing trauma, restoring and improving relationships, setting personal goals, learning new skills to cope with life’s challenges, and gaining a greater sense of self. Whether you are facing extreme difficulty, or could simply use a neutral sounding board to help you make some minor improvements, individual therapy can help you move forward toward your ideal level of wellness.
